Daymia
Daymia the Blue (Japanese: 青のデイミア Romaji: ao no deimia; spelled Demia in the English dub) was one of the three canidates for the Sorcerer's Guild's director election. He is voiced by Masato Hirano in the Japanese version and by Jimmy Zoppi in the English version. According to Tarim in the anime, he has a bit of a personality problem.

With the help of his rival, Tarim the Violet, Daymia was able to banish Halcyform the White from the Sorcerer's Guild and Atlas City altogether. However, enraged, Halcyform sought vengence on both Tarim and Daymia. Halcyform began staging assassination attempts on both of them to turn them against each other by making both believe that one was trying to kill the other. Daymia then hired the sorcerer Karuas as a personal bodyguard and created a chimera from two blow demons for him to use as shoulder guards.
Amidst the rising tension in Atlas City, Daymia hires Zelgadiss Graywords and Amelia Wil Tesla Saillune as additional bodyguards for him, under Karuas' recommendation. Little did he know, however, that Tarim had also hired additional guardians who happened to be Lina Inverse and Gourry Gabriev.
After the low-ranking mazoku Seigram summoned magic beasts from his and Tarim's mansions, Daymia is arrested alongside his rival and taken into custody by the Sorcerer's Guild for interrogation. Halcyform then swiftly proceeds to abduct both vice-chairmen to draw out their magic and life forces for his experiments. Daymia is eventually petrified into stone from the waist up and stays that way towards the end since the Slayers forgot to ask Halcyform how to change them back to normal.
Novels[]
In the novels, Daymia maintains a personality problem as he is fidgety and cracks up into bizarre laughter. Besides, Tarim even concedes that Daymia is twice as powerful as he is in terms of magic and Lina later on concludes that Daymia has an affinity for water as an element.
It turns out that Daymia was appointed vice-chairman of the Sorcerer's Guild of Atlas by Halcyform as he shared the same interest in making research on immortality. However, Daymia's experiments stopped making progress beyond a certain point, leaving Halcyform disappointed.
Since Halcyform had at some point become a threat with his partial immortality obtained from Seigram, Daymia temporarily worked with Tarim to seal Halcyform in a block of emerald beneath his mansion, within his Rune Breaker submerged in water.
After Halcyform breaks free from his seal, Seigram casts Raugnut Rushavna on Daymia, causing him to turn into a lump of immortal flesh under torment. However, Daymia retains his distinct bizarre laughter which allows Lina and Gourry to recognize him.
