Hikaru Midorikawa

Hikaru Midorikawa (緑川みどりかわ ひかる Midorikawa Hikaru) is a male Japanese voice actor who is represented by Aoni Production.

Apart from having an unusual voice, he plays saxophone, and loves drawing, games and computers. He has been a voice actor since 1988, when he began his career as Murai from Be-Bop High School.

Aside from his voice acting activities, he is also a J-Pop artist and has been a part of bands such as Entertainment Music Unit (E.M.U) and Zero Phoenix. E.M.U was formed by five voice actors from the radio drama Sotsugyou M (Male Graduation). Aside from him, the other members are Nobutoshi Canna (previously Hayashi), Ryoutarou Okiayu, Hideo Ishikawa, and Daisuke Sakaguchi Daisuke. During their run from 1995 to 2000, the group released 8 CDs, 4 singles and countless performances and appearances. Shortly before E.M.U disbanded, he joined with his fellow actor and friend, Canna Nobutoshi, to create a new group, Zero Phoenix. The duo only released one CD so far titled "Kirameki". It's unknown whether or not the group is still together or when they will release another CD.[1]

He manages his own website called Hikaru's Bar. Additionally, he is one of a handful of people to have a blog on Banpresto's "Supalog" website.

He did the voice of Zelgadiss Graywords in the Japanese version of the Slayers anime.
