Dispute prevention[]
If you have an issue with the content of an article and you think that editing it will cause an argument, leave a comment in the article's talk page instead of editing. Try to come to an agreement before an argument erupts.
Remember that in most cases, editing will not cause arguments. Do not be discouraged from editing the work of others.
When to contact editors[]
- When you have attempted discussion on the article's talk page with no result
- When the edit in question affects a large or significant part of the article
- When an edit/revert war has broken out
Editors will resolve issues as outlined in the blocking policy.
