Mech Titan Gadget (Mechanical Titan Gadget) (メックタイタンガジェット Mekku Taitan Gajetto?) is a mecha-genre series of light novels written jointly by Hajime Kanzaka (creator of Slayers) and Yoshinobu Akita (creator of Orphen). Unlike their last collaboration, Slayers VS Orphen, each of the 2 novels were written by a different author.
Kanzaka's is called Giant Gladiator Granearth (巨甲闘士グランアース Kyokōtōshi Guranāsu?) with illustrations by Keita Hayashi and Tetsuya Hayashi. Akita's is called Oppressive Machine Ixiant (虐殺機イクシアント?) with illustrated by Tomofumi Ogasawara.

The peaceful days have crumbled away, when a mysterious giant robot appears tramples the city. It is then, a high school girl named Shia Miyaryuin is forced to pilot a giant robot named GranEarth her father built and save the day.
Oppressive Machine Ixiant[]
Now her family famous as the hero, Shia is once again being pushed to pilot another robot codenamed "VEX0 -Ixiant TYPHOON" for another battle.
