Shizuri(Japanese: シズリ) makes her appearance in Slayers: Knight of Aqualord.
She serves Saan Maoram, the Head Priest of Ti Toh's Head Temple of the Church of the Aqualord. She is easily filled with awe in his presence and is instantly gratified by any compliment given by her superior. As such, she endeavors to please him by fulfilling her given tasks to the best of her abilities.
As an expert practitioner of illusion magic, she can effortlessly trap people in an altered reality. She seems to have a high perception of spiritual energies. She is able to discern Lyos's unusual power and the ominous aura from the shards of the Fang of the Dark Lord in Lina Inverse's possession at first glance.
In appearance, Shizuri is curvaceous and wears a headband along with an ornament which drops to her forehead. There is also what seems to be the crest of the Aqualord just below her collarbone.
Shizuri initially comes off as an enemy who abducts Lina's party using reality manipulation. However, when tasked by the Head Priest, she eventually joins Lyos, Lina, Gourry and Amelia later on their quest to find the legendary Power of the Gods. She progressively grows closer to the group, forging strong bonds as they advance further into their adventure. Shizuri really latches onto Lyos, developing an attachment that alternates between being maternal and flirtatious, and strongly believes in his capacity and potential from the very get-go.
Her travels in search of the Power of the Gods lead her to understand the risks involved with its manipulation and gain a different outlook on the world.
