"Martina's father, Moros Navratilova, was the king of Zoana" - in the surnames like this the ending depends on the sex. Females's form is "*ova", male's form is "*ov". "Moros Navratilova" sounds kinda weird and funny. It would be much better to change it to "Moros Navratilov".E4chan 18:49, April 4, 2010 (UTC)E4chan

Considering we're talking about a completely made-up country here with no obvious cultural counterpart in real life, I'm not sure what you're basing this on. Catgirl the Crazy 19:36, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
Slavic names do follow that rule, but unlike the woman who served as inspiration for her name, Martina is not of Czech nationality. ;) --Pip25 21:09, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
Besides, it has never been stated that Moros' surname is Navratilova :/ in fact, if we follow what seems to be the construction of names of royal families in the Slayers world, Moros could have Zoana in his surname (as well as Fil, Christopher, Alfred, Amelia and Gracia have all Saillune in theirs), but we can't know what else could be in his surname. shansito 21:28, April 10, 2010 (UTC)
